PRIVACY POLICY

Information discussed within this consultation will be kept confidential to the extent allowed by law. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Polly is a mandated reporter of suspected elder or child-abuse. Confidentiality may not apply if Dr. Polly is advised of a serious threat of violence by a patient against a readily ascertainable third party, or of a patient posing a risk of harm to themselves.

Dr. Polly's consulting services do not substitute for obtaining legal advice, psychotherapy, or clinical supervision, nor is it aimed at coaching a parent for the purposes of presenting an untrue impression during a court-appointed evaluation.  Dr. Polly will provide consultation and commentary within the scope of her expertise, and within the scope of the issue as presented by the consultee.  The quality of the advice given is dependent upon the quality of the information provided by the consultee, and there is no guarantee that any specific outcome will be achieved as a result of this consultation.
